Lady GaGa Tickets – a New Lady in Town

Gaining as much notoriety for her electro-pop appearance as for her comparisons to the newly remade Christina Aguilera, the Manhattan native Lady GaGa doesn’t care what has jet set her career to mainstream success, she’s just grateful for it. After making waves with the underground scene in New York, performing at clubs like The Bitter End in Greenwich Village, “GaGa,” as her friends have deemed her, has learned to take everything in stride. “Most artists don’t go on arena tours before their albums drops,” Lady GaGa talks to Pollstar about her new tour with New Kids on the Block. “But I don’t think anybody can deny my abilities as a performer. That’s the bottom line.” And so, out pops Lady GaGa, who will undeniably only become a more generous star in the future defined by her neutrality and more, now is the time to get your own Lady GaGa tickets, where the best place to find her eccentric style is always http://www.stubhub.com/lady-gaga-tickets.

Just 22 years old, the futuristic female wasn’t caught off guard when Aguilera, who appeared at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards with a similar frock to GaGa, dared to question GaGa’s sexuality. “I talk about Grace Jones and David Bowie all the time,” Lady GaGa said to The London Free Press. “And I love androgynous fashion, so she’s just picking up on the Andy Warhol in me.” The pop artist earned her stage name (she was born Stefani Germanotta) after the 1984 Queen hit “Radio Ga Ga,” and her love for theatrics. The road to The Fame, her debut album, was messy.

”Hustling,” as she deems it to Pollstar, from the time she was a teen in New York City’s open mic nights, the young starlet chose to perform her own background material rather than carry around the typical boom-box like other pop acts. “I did a couple of different things,” she told Pollstar. “First I started at the piano – because I play piano – and then I had a band that I put together in college that last about a year.” Later she added beats she created from her Macbook Pro, and eventually threw her beats onto a vinyl made at a local store.

It wasn’t long before GaGa started making some headlines of her own, but at first it was more for her mad poetic skills than her voice. Signing to Interscope Records as a lyricist, she has penned singles for pop acts including the Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears and was eventually confident enough to start working on her own material. The Fame cites her influences David Bowie and Queen but also delves into the pop atmosphere that she first worked with. “I wanted to write a hit record,” GaGa says to The Independent. “Something that was shameless and totally, 100 per cent bubblegum pop, but still avant-garde and Pop Art in that Andy Warhol way that I really strive to be. I want to make pop music that’s commercial, but is considered fine art.” Well, to say the least GaGa has hit her mark with pop singles “Poker Face” and “Just Dance,” electro-pop Billboard charting singles that incorporate both the Spears-type of pop GaGa pens along with a quirky Warhol feminism.

my girlfriends concert tickets got ruined?

ever since they came out my girlfriend has loved the pussycat dolls, i f’ing hate them. they are coming to our town soon and she bought 4 tickets for she and her best friends. we got in a fight about her not getting things done around the apartment last night like she is supposed to so she stormed out angrily saying she’d be back tomorrow. i was pissed so i invited over a couple buddies to drink and watch the national championship game. i was pretty hammered when i looked over and saw the envelope with the tickets sitting on the coffee table. in a drunken rage i took them and burned them like commies burn american flags. not wanting to take responsibility i told her that i woke up this and her rottweiler pup had taken the envelope off the table and ate the tickets, i even saved half a ticket and made it look convincing. i didnt care cause she pissed me off, but then i felt a tiny bit bad cause she kicked her dog twice and yelled at it all day. should i confess? i dont wanna deal w/ it

Nba Tickets for Knockout Basketball!

Fans with NBA tickets know that they have passes for much more than just a good basketball game. NBA games are known for their high-profile players and plays that sometimes seem to defy all laws of gravity. Over the years, the league has had its share of glorious moments and complicated controversies.

All Hail The Celtics!

The NBA was established in 1946, and currently has thirty teams from the United States and Canada. Of the two countries, the United States is definitely more dominant, as there is only one Canadian team that has been fielded relatively recently. Of all the teams that have played so far in the league, none have been able to beat the legacy created by the Boston Celtics. They have more championship wins than any other team, reigning at 16 championship victories that were won almost consecutively over two decades.

A big draw for NBA tickets was Larry Bird, a basketball legend and the tour de force for the Celtics for a long time. During the 1980s in particular, the interest in NBA basketball skyrocketed, when Magic Johnson signed with the Lakers. At the time, it was nearly impossible to get NBA tickets for a Celtics- Lakers game, since it pitted these two giants against each other. The nineties saw a growth spurt in this kind of individualized star power with the rise of Michael Jordon. The league also became global, as basketball players from other countries began to join NBA teams. Some of the strongest players would come from China.

A Unique Kind of Controversy

The NBA has been dogged with a unique kind of controversy, one that has also brought in high sales of NBA Tickets. This has been the criticism of hip-hop culture among many of the players. This has been evident on many levels- well known hip hop stars like Nelly and Jay-Z have ownership stakes in some teams. Some basketball stars have tried their hand at rapping. But perhaps most visible is the jewelry and tattoos many players like to wear.

Most observers feel this is actually a race issue, since the majority of players are African-American and other major leagues do not come in for this kind of criticism. But the hip hop factor certainly hasn’t hurt ticket sales. Added to this, the NBA has attracted some of the biggest stars to perform its anthem or at opening games. Some of the best names in the music business like Justin Timberlake, The Black Eyed Peas, LL Cool J, The Pussycat Dolls and Destiny’s Child have contributed their music to the NBA.

In comparison to other leagues, like the NHL or NFL, the NBA is known for being a relatively non-violent one, with brawls and fights being kept at a minimum. There have however been a few incidents, the most famous being the Pacers-Pistons brawl, which involved not only players but fans as well. But on the whole, fans come to NBA games to watch really stellar basketball action from the best players in the world. Tickets for these games are available online as well and you can order your NBA tickets from an authorized ticket vendor.
