Why is nicole the only one who sings in the pussycat dolls?

i mean they are called the pussycat dollS (emphasize on the plural). melody can sing amazing and i’ve never even heard the other girls!! and in girlicious (the spinoff of pcd) those girls each take turns in a song singing….i think the names of those groups should be switched!!
