are the pussycat dolls good role models?
my little sis is 13. i am 23. she is into the pussycat dolls. i dont mind their music but my sis is like sooo into them. wants 2 dress like them, talk like them- everything! lol
i have told her she is too young 2 dress like them and to wait a couple of years. what do u guys think???

Find better role models for your lil sis. You have to have some kind of influence on her.

i dont know about you but just hearing those words from a 13 year old is creepy enough.. but also seeing a 13 yr old dress and actually have those feelings is gross.

All you have to do is look at how they dress and perform. They dress slutty and their goal is to look sexy and provocative. Not what you want your 13 year old sister to emulate. But hey, is there any music group out there that you’d want a young girl emulating? Seriously?
Yes, I’m sure the pussycat dolls look cool. But your sister needs to understand that boys associate their look with sex. Guys won’t respect her…all they’ll want is to have sex with her. Help her understand the difference between having a real boyfriend and having someone who just wants to have sex.
They dress way too provocative and are always bringing attention to their bodies in their music/videos. That definitely isn’t something a girl as young as your sister should be using as a role model.
A better question…does she see YOU as her role model? Are you trying to set a good example for her so she knows to make good choices in life? Start spending some time with her, if you don’t already, eventually she’ll put you as her role model. But going by some of your recent questions, it is no wonder that she wants to dress like them, you seem to do the same…
